The goal was to provide world-class web portal that can scale up to accommodate all of the future online requirements of MainLand Express Cargo and Courier company progressively for its UAE operations. MainLand Express had their own fleet of vehicles and drivers along with set of service offerings that was specialized for local last mile delivery, dedicated pickups and hiring of vehicles for a given period. Though they were already reputed in US, their UAE business needed focused marketing efforts in Abudabi / Dubai. MainLand Express has chosen social media, email marketing and electronic advertising route to complement their sales force.
To effect this decision, MainLand Express needed scalable portal solution that provides “right information to right decision makers” of customers. A simple information dissemination website is not sufficient to generate leads to the company.
The Highlight of the portal is to provide an online calculator that gives a ball park idea to new customers who were mulling over various options in last mile transport or any of the service offerings of MainLand Express.
